Worship is at the very heart of our ministry. The Cloud and Fire Church service provides inspiring Biblical teaching, contemporary praise music, and Christian fellowship. All ages are welcome, and childcare is provided.
Co-Pastors Pride Metcalf and Melody Rossi facilitate the service.
Unlike most other churches, the Cloud and Fire Church began as an outreach to teens living in a tough neighborhood with nowhere to go after school. Much like a Good News Club or Young Life group, Cloud and Fire was a place where community was created and the gospel was shared. Many youth came to Christ, and then needed deeper Biblical training and discipleship. Eventually, they began to see their youth leaders as pastors. The after-school program eventually became a church for the alumni. Today, the Cloud and Fire Church provides worship and Christian training for youth, young adults, and families. Child care is provided for small children.
Pastors Pride and Melody were ordained by Trans World Missions in 2005, and the Cloud and Fire Church was launched in March, 2006.
The Cloud and Fire Praise Band
Brian Farrell has a Master’s Degree from the Julliard School in piano, and loves playing keyboard in the band. Brian is also the composer of original praise music, and has written some of Cloud and Fire’s most beloved songs, including “Psalm 130”
Musicians Joanna Arreola, Pride Metcalf, Mario Galeano, Andrew Wesley, and Gildi Avila round out the band’s sound by providing vocals and playing guitar and drums.
