Faith
Although some of our programs have a secular goal, such as improving academic outcomes or imparting construction skills, Cloud and Fire takes care to provide every participant with optional opportunities to grow spiritually and experience God’s love in tangible ways. Some of our activities are faith-based in nature, and help youth discover or strengthen their relationship with God.
Cloud & Fire Church
Join us Friday nights for the Cloud and Fire Church Service! A visitor once noted that our unique, intimate service feels like coming home for a family reunion. Staff, alumni, participants, and volunteers join together to provide inspiring Biblical teaching, contemporary praise music, and Christian fellowship, and to share the exciting thing God is doing in our lives and community. All ages are welcome, and childcare is provided for children under seven years of age.
Co-Pastors Pride Metcalf and Melody Rossi facilitate the service.

The Cloud & Fire Worship Team
Cloud and Fire’s worship team is an eclectic mix of musicians from various musical backgrounds. Brian Farrell is classically trained in piano, and holds a Master’s Degree from the Julliard School. Though he serves on the faculty of California State University, Long Beach, he loves playing keyboard in the Cloud and Fire band. Brian is also the composer of original praise music, and has written some of Cloud and Fire’s most beloved songs, including "Psalm 130".
Musicians Joanna Arreola, Pride Metcalf, Mario Galeano, and Andrew Wesley round out the band’s sound by providing vocals and playing guitar and drums.
